Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2025-08-26T01:25Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2025-08-26T01:25:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: N02E85
Active Region Number: 14199
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
Source Signature Keyword:
FLR: Flare
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
FS: Flux Rope and Shock Candidate
Note: Narrowish CME to the E associated with the M3.3 flare from AR 4199 (N02E70) peaking at 2025-08-26T00:30Z. The flare seems to be from a more on-limb location than the Active Region (further east). There is an associated long, fan-like prominence eruption off-limb seen in SDO AIA and GOES SUVI 304 starting at 2025-08-26T00:33Z.

Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
